SUMMARY: Provides staffing support throughout the Branch Network for absences due to PTO, leaves of absence, training, jury duty and vacancies. Acts primarily as a Teller with the ability to function as a Financial Services Representative (FSR) as needed. Responsible for multi:tasking which includes the ability to shift priorities in meeting the changing needs of the branch and its members while providing prompt, professional and accurate assistance to internal and external members. Works on the teller line, at the greeter station, on the platform, or as otherwise directed by Branch Management to include special projects. Determines needs and promotes credit union products and services to new potential and existing members. Promotes an open and welcoming retail branch environment while maintaining quality and ethical service standards set by the organization. Enhances member relationships through sales that are beneficial to members and Mission Fed by using the approved sales model to achieve sales and service goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
:
Proactively acknowledges members as they enter the Branch. Assists branches by working at the teller line, opening new accounts, and processing consumer and real estate loan requests, as needed. Accurately performs teller operations, successfully balances cash drawer, and actively participates in branch end:of:day balancing duties.

Interviews potential and existing members by utilizing the skills learned in sales training courses to determine appropriate products and services which will meet their financial needs. Effectively demonstrates the various alternate delivery services available to members, both in the branch and via remote channels. This includes, but is not limited to: Mission Link including Bill Payment services, MissionLine, Missions Website, Mobile Banking and ATMs.

Actively participates in both in:branch and organization sales programs, contests, and promotions. Participates in sales meetings and sales training. Properly tracks all referrals and sales, while ethically adhering to the Mission Fed Sales Rules. Maintains the minimum performance standards as set by Mission Fed guidelines. Acts as a positive role model for team members by providing support to FSRs and mentoring Tellers. Promotes high morale and teamwork within the branches and departments.

Effectively models Mission Federal Credit Unions established service standards at all times, striving to handle each encounter in a seamless manner., to include proper phone etiquette Professionally answers phone calls within three rings and relaytimely, complete, and accurate messages to employees. Maintains an awareness of managements activities to ensure information is communicated to callers.

Addresses member complaints and concerns as they arise. Follows through to resolution and satisfactory conclusion, collaborating as needed with Branch Management, support departments and/or Contact Center, following proper chain of command as set by Mission Fed standards. Processes non:routine transactions such as name changes, updating information on decedent accounts and trust accounts, and completing Power of Attorney requests, ensuring the proper completion of all paperwork. Also included will be completing the required documentation for lost/stolen checks, debit Cards and ATM situations. Ensures all required updates and changes are entered into the computer system.

Keeps abreast of all policy and procedural changes through the electronic delivery channels of Mission Fed including reading and responding to e:mails, as appropriate, in a timely manner.
