Sales Coordinator
Pay: $23+
Located: Carlsbad
Reports to: Vice President, Global Sales

Job Summary:
Prospects and develops new customer sales and maintains sales with existing customers. This person must have a high emotional intelligence in order to deal with a variety of people from executives to scientists to purchasing managers. Must be a team player and have a get-it-done attitude. Handles conflict in an appropriate, constructive and professional manner. Possesses and portrays a mature, professional, ethical and positive company image and demeanor at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Call on current and potential customers to gain additional sales by:
-Developing and executing budgets and strategies to grow sales within the assigned territory.
-Traveling throughout the territory to call on current and potential customers to grow sales. At least 40% travel will be required.
-Collaborating with internal and external customers to create solutions for formulating and manufacturing products that meet the customer-s expectations.
-Responsible for achieving Sales Forecasts for the territory.
-Represent the Company at industry trade shows to promote the Company.
-Keep current on competitive, technical and product information.

- Bachelor-s degree
-At least 1-3 years of experience sales background. Experience in the nutritional supplement industry is preferred.
-Valid driver-s license. This is a traveling position and at least 40% travel is required. Majority of travel will be day and overnight plane flights to territory.
-Must have effective professional written and verbal forms of communication in order to make effective presentations to groups.
- Must be self-motivated, multi-tasking and able to prioritize workload.
-Computer literate in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
