Principal Responsibilities:
The JCC Box Office provides quality ticketing services for cultural and artistic events. The Box Office Assistant will be providing courteous and prompt service to clientele & customers.

Essential Functions:
• Work directly and assists Box Office Manager.
• Strong organizational & administrative skills.
• Able to multi-task with a high volume of phone calls & ticket sales.
• Other duties as assigned by Box Office Manager or Executive Management.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Ticketmaster, Outbox, Showare, and/or other ticketing programs.
• Proficient knowledge of PC computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple, simultaneous tasks; finish projects on time; while maintaining budget parameter
• Positive attitude with the ability to remain calm and respond confidently and promptly to stressful situations.
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Capacity to solve problems with diplomacy and sound judgement in a variety of situations and personality types.
• Ability to think creatively about challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Flexible availability; nights and weekends required.
• Must be able to lift and or move up to 25 lbs. as required.
