I am offering an original refurbished Mid to Late 1900s eight-day Key Wind Ship’s Bell Clock. Based on the design, quality, and materials used it was likely built during the 1970s. The brass case measures 6” wide, 3” deep, has a 4½” hinged door, with 4” beveled glass window. The 4¼” silvered face, with Roman numerals, is signed “MADE IN GERMANY”. This clock has the original 1970s Hermie Movement which is stamped “Emil Schmeckenbecher” “MADE IN GERMANY” “FOUR (4) JEWELS” “UNADJUSTED” “132-071”. Also included is an original s signed brass Waterbury Clock Co Winding Key. The case back is also stamped “MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY”. The clock keeps reasonably accurate time and strikes the “Ship’s Bells” pattern hours assigned to crewmembers, but there is no assurance that it will after being shipped. The overall condition is very nice considering its advanced age. Please read my entire detailed description and view all the pictures carefully before bidding! Additional Nautical Items Available - Please Call Cliff @ 760-736-8101 For More Information.
