Refurbished USN Binoculars including the original leather case. These type of binoculars were usually carried by a navy officer aboard ship. It measure 7” wide x 5” tall x 2” deep and have 1¼” object lenses and include the original leather neck strap. The main body is signed: "6x30" "U.S. NAVY BU. SHIPS" "MARK 33. MOD.1" "N (CIRCLED) - 1943" "UNIVERSAL" "CAMERA CORP." "NEW YORK, U.S.A." “101126”. The leather case still has the felt lining and leather handle, but the lid tie-down strap is missing. A very nice short leather shoulder strap has been added. It appears this adjustable strap is intended to be used as a sturdy hand carry. This 3 pound nautical artifact is a nice example of the superior U.S. craftsmanship during this period. Additional Nautical Items Available - Please Call Cliff @ 760-942-2025 For More Information
