I am offering an original refurbished Mid-1900s eight-day key wind Ship’s Bell Clock. Based on the design, quality, and materials used it was likely built in the mid-1900s. The brass case measures 5” wide, 2¾” deep, has a hinged door, with 4” beveled glass window, and weighs two pounds. It features a 4¼” silvered face, with Arabic numerals, which is signed as follows: “Airguide” “SHIPS BELL” “MADE IN WEST GERMANY FOR AIRGUIDE INSTRUMENT CO. CHICAGO USA”. The back is also signed “WEST GERMANY”. The clock keeps accurate time, strikes the “Ship’s Bells” pattern hours correctly, and comes with a winding key. This clock is mounted on a “one of a kind” custom made 8”W x 11½”H x 5½”D five pound solid oak stand with key drawer and felt bottom. The clock also features a convenient on/off bell switch available through the face. This is one of the best clock and stand combinations I have ever seen.
