CARNIVAL! (Book by Michael Stewart and Music and Lyrics by Bob Merrill) follows the adventures of Lili; an enchanting but naïve young orphan; as she eagerly joins a traveling french circus down on its luck. There she is dazzled by acrobats, jugglers, clowns, a skilled seductive magician and a disillusioned puppeteer who can only express himself through his delightful puppets. Soon she becomes the center of affection from both the magician and the puppeteer. This musical love story is a perfect magical blend of emotional highs and lows filled with songs like “Love Makes the World Go Round” and "Her Face". Carnival! is sure to cast a romantic magical spell over the entire audience.
Roles:

Do you think of yourself as an energetic person who loves working with 3 to 5 year olds? Are you interested in Dance and kids, but don't have a lot of experience? Do you have a few hours a week that you would like to dedicate to improving your experience? If your answer is yes to the above questions, and you can be a great team player who's punctual and fun, we would like to talk with you. Adagio Dance is a mobile dance company based in San Diego County providing expansive dance classes in different locations and cities through out Southern California. Our classes focus on encouraging children's natural enthusiasm and reinforcing experimental learning. Each of our classes inspires students by continually building on dance fundamentals in an environment where what our students contribute is as valuable as what we teach. We have an opening for a Dance Instructor Assistant in the Kearny Mesa area for Wednesday afternoons and Saturday Mornings. You will be part of a team that's led by our phenomenal dance instructors to inspire each child to do their best. This will include helping dancers with position, classroom management, and getting ready for class. Our classes are active, fun, and in motion so please be ready to smile and move. ********
