Widescope is actively recruiting for an experienced (Senior Level) Enterprise Architect to support our Navy Customer at the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) in San Diego, CA. Hiring is contingent on contract award.

Widescope is looking for an experienced candidate that can develop complex Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) architecture products for the Principal Oceanographic Prediction System (POPS) hardware, operating systems (OS) program, to include reviewing and extracting data from architecture documents such as the Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) analysis documents, Capability Based Assessments (CBA), Initial Capability Documents (ICD), Capability Documents, program:level acquisition documentation, and Information Support Plans (ISPs).
The successful candidate must be capable of assessing and documenting the current FNMOC network, both hardware and software. The Candidate will also be required to conduct a site assessment and audit of the POPS hardware, operating systems (OS), and software infrastructure currently installed at FNMOC, Monterey, CA., and The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO), Stennis MS. The results of these assessments/audits will be recorded in the Configuration Management (CM) repository.

The successful candidate will ensure all government requirements are met to include the following. That all DoDAF Documentation are identified, collected, confirmed, and validated by the FNMOC managerial and technical leadership including:

Baseline Documents : The Candidate will update and maintain baseline documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), drawings, packaging requirements, maintenance and supply support documentation 7 and training documentation. The Candidate will ensure control of the operational equipment/systems hardware, technical documentation and software configuration baselines for Nova 3.0.1, Nova 3.0.2 and NIXT 1.0.1.

DoDAF Documentation : The Candidate will identify and collect Operational Viewpoints (OVs), Project Viewpoints (PVs), Capability Viewpoints (CVs) and Systems Viewpoint (SVs) provided by the government. The Candidate will create OV:1, OV:2, OV:3, CV:4, PV:3, and SV:1, SV:2, and SV:4 DoDAF views and enter them into CM Pro(tm). Candidate will update or create DoDAF views as required based on the gap analysis and the previous years Risk Management Framework (RMF) packets.

Logical Network Diagrams : The Candidate will ensure all Logical Network Diagrams are identified, collected and if required, produce all line diagrams, block diagrams or other artifacts documenting connections, physical and logical diagrams, and interface documents. When diagrams are not available, will create an overarching block wiring diagram, with the high:level functions supported by each block, integrating the fiber channel, Ethernet, and InfiniBand networks.

Operating Systems (OS) and Virtual Machine Managers : The Candidate will ensure OS and Virtual Machine Managers are identified, documented, and/or validated bare metal and virtually hosted OS and Virtual Machine Managers and associated management software, by cluster where applicable, and by individual machines otherwise; validate instance counts against licenses and/or support contracts.

Hardware Assessment : The Candidate will ensure all Server Nodes and Workstations are identified and documented and that all host and server hardware specifications, NIC, owner, model, part number, serial number, and warranty or support contract information, and any special integration requirements not specified elsewhere. Include existing uninterrupted power source (UPS) hardware.
