Job Description:/h3:
TruMed Systems is looking for a hands:on Technical Support and Quality Engineer with a penchant for working on interesting and complex hardware and software support tasks to join our Field Operations Group. The successful candidate will work with a team of world:class hardware and software engineers to support the deployment, production and ongoing operations of TruMeds AccuVax automated vaccine supply chain management system. The role will involve working effectively as part of a team, supporting the daily efforts of our Manufacturing and Field Support Teams. This individual will answer incoming calls and respond to emails from our customers, provide Tier1/Tier2 support on routine problems and will triage more complex problems to Tier 3 support engineers. Additionally this role will work directly with engineering to perform both hardware and software quality control tests and evaluations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Provides Tier1/Tier2 phone and email support to clients using companys proprietary hardware and software products; works closely with clients and internal resources to resolve client issues across multiple
products/technologies.
:Troubleshoots and diagnoses reported client problems and works to understand and correct problems; builds rapport and elicits problem/request details from clients; reports progress/results to clients in a timely manner.
:Tests fixes to ensure reported problem has been adequately resolved.
:Works with clients to install and upgrade companys proprietary software products and associated components.
:Identifies software anomalies; tests anomalies to verify and determine scenarios under which they occur; documents verified anomalies and communicates back to engineering
:Documents all contacts processed using Salesforce Service and Support Module.
:Supports company standards by collaborating, communicating and cooperating with internal staff members and external clients in a timely and professional manner.
:Performs related duties as required in support of client service goals.
Desired Qualifications :
:Associate degree in Computer Science or related technical field. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
:At least one year experience is required in dealing with customers, customer support over the telephone, working with computers, medical equipment and or appliances, and completing data entry work.
:A Bachelors Degree in a related field will be considered in lieu of required work experience.
:The ability to document information that contains technical terminology.
:Knowledgeable of and proficiency with using computers, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, data bases, Internet, and customer ticket system.
:Must have well:developed problem solving skills and a passion for solving puzzles and learning how things work.
:Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
:Extensive knowledge with Windows Operating System and command line tools
:Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and/or SQL query skills
:Ability to develop and document troubleshooting information with Systems Engineering
:Ability to develop user training tools (video, written, online)
