Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Research Analyst will perform a wide variety of writing, research, data gathering, and data analysis tasks, and will assist with compiling professional reports, client presentations, and business development/solicitation proposals. This position will expose the Research Analyst to an array of disciplines, including housing policy and planning, economic development, workforce development, real estate, sustainability, and active transportation.

Specific duties for the position may include:
Perform research and summarize findings in formal reports, including narrative, table, and presentation (e.g., PowerPoint) formats. Research to include federal, state, and local policy issues, as well as planning documents, budgets and fees, legislation, and land use analysis.
Provide project support for senior staff as directed.
Track local, state, and national policy issues and news.  Organize, manage, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.
Coordinate stakeholder and community outreach.
Write and edit content for requests for proposals and Company newsletters.
Assist with formatting documents/proposals, generating reports and developing materials for presentations and workshops.
Assist with marketing materials as needed, including website content, strategic communication tasks, and updating company social media platforms.
Assemble and maintain professional collateral materials to support business development efforts.
Coordinate and confirm meetings for selected staff. Attend and take meeting notes if requested.
Perform administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Ability to analyze data and perform research and writing tasks at an advanced/graduate level.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to address and prioritize multiple deadlines and deliverables with minimal direction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Suite or other design software experience a plus.
