Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems – Autonomous Systems Program Office is seeking a Program Manager, reporting to the Triton Sustainment Director. The manager will lead the sustainment team on the Triton program, located at the Autonomous Design Center of Excellence (CoE) in San Diego, CA.
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
  • Be responsible for contractual, cost, schedule and technical performance of contracts to actively manage all sustainment requirements
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Proposals, Firm Proposals, proposal schedules and budgets, proposal work statements and specifications, meeting preparation and action follow up, and overall management of contract proposals
  • Participate in negotiation of sustainment contracts and contract changes
  • Provide program office oversight and management interfacing through Independent Product Teams (IPTs) such as Global Logistics and Operations Support (GL&OS), Mission Systems, Test, etc., and functional departments such as Contracts, Cost Management, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Engineering, Pricing and Estimating.
  • Lead discussions on sustainment work scope, cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Review status of projects and budgets, oversee schedules, and prepare status reports for project execution
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet affordability, performance, and customer goals
  • Develops mechanisms to monitor project progress, identify problems, and to intervene and implement solutions with IPTs and Functional Managers
This role functions as the primary Program Office interface with the customer on sustainment requirements, performance and proposals. Participates in technical reviews, customer meetings, and supplier meetings. Coordinates and presents program status at Program Management Reviews.
The candidate will have strong leadership, organization, and team building skills. Excellent communication across the enterprise is critical. Will work with cross functional IPTs to coordinate and develop an integrated solution for the sustainment customer. Ability to provide briefings and interface with customer.
