In this role candidate will perform Reliability, Maintainability Availability (RAM) analyses for a variety of US Air force/Navy programs in support of Northrop Grumman Aerospace System’s Autonomous Systems division. Candidate will perform RAM-C activities to influence designs; this requires the candidate to have a strong analytical background in engineering analysis. Candidate will support the following activities: Failure Review and Corrective Analysis Systems (FRACAS) reviews, Failure Review Board (FRB) activities, RAM-C requirement development, subcontractor data reviews for RAM products, development of RAM products for DOD customers, flight test activities and other PHM and/or Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) activities. They will be expected to work independently with occasional guidance.
Job entails interfacing with Engineering and suppliers to assist in conducting complex trades’ analysis for design versus performance and cost. Job includes performing of detailed quantitative and qualitative analytical analyses. It requires excellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to quickly adapt and synthesize new information, processes, and data for tasks. Must have excellent skills with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
