The Business Analyst, Opportunity to Order position provides critical support to Illumina's Global Sales Operations team to improve the productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, ROI and job satisfaction of Illumina sales reps and sales managers.

Under the guidance of the Associate Director, Sales Operations Opportunity to Order (AD O2C), tasks and responsibilities (may include one or more of the following functions):

* recommend changes and enhancements to the company Customer Relationship Management technology platform.

* proactively identify areas of improvement for the opportunity to cash process set and its associated technologies.

* perform analysis and recommend any redesign for all sub processes under the Opportunity to Order workstream. Create and/or maintain supporting documentation. Gather requirements for enhancements and facilitate method for prioritizing those enhancements.

* work closely with Regional Sales Operations teams to support programs design and rollouts, may include creating documentation and communication materials.

* ensure consistency of materials in support of the Sales methodology and Sales Process globally.

* have entrepreneurial ownership of new technology/processes in support of sales teams globally; support new projects as assigned.

* contribute to sales enablement activities from content to rollout to training

* align and work with other Illumina teams to coordinate sales operations involvement in broader projects.

* work closely with Training Manager to ensure sales teams are receiving optimized training and skills support.

* work alongside Global Sales Operations Team(s) to enact policies and procedures, as well as support global initiatives deemed part of sales operations.

* provide technical support and act as SME for supporting processes, policies and write and maintain policies, as appropriate.

Additional responsibilities may include:

* Management and supervisory functions as requested.

Preferred Educational Background:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Business or Technical field preferred. Life sciences degree a plus.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

* 3+ years successful track record in sales, sales operations, customer service or a related commercial support role preferred.

* Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and project management skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with multiple departments to execute mutually beneficial solutions.

* Successful managerial experience and track record preferred.
