There are SO many ways to describe San Diego! "Sun, beaches, paradise, and eclectic", are some of my favorites. My Simple Studio in San Diego's BEST neighborhood, North Park, is perfect for a sunny trip to Southern & Baja California. North Park is "the Village" of San Diego, it has the best food & venues in the area. It's also very centrally located by I-805 and I-5, with the airport at 15 minutes away from your "Simply San Diego" Studio and beautiful Balboa Park at 10 minutes. Welcome! The Space The Simply San Diego Studio Apartment has got everything you need for a short, or long stay in the area. Our studio is located on the 3rd floor of the our Bramson Place apartment complex and is comprised of a main room, closet, cupboard, and full bathroom. Lastly, the microwave and refrigerator kitchenette area is perfect for heating up a quick snack and keeping small items cold. The Neighborhood I started out, in my description about our "Simply San Diego Studio", talking about descriptions for lovely San Diego. I thought finding some great three-word descriptions of San Diego would be a fun, and entertaining way to let you know what people think of in San Diego. A local newspaper posted a fantastic article in August 7, 2013 with three-letter descriptions of San Diego tweeted from locals. I've pasted some of the best below: . Sunny, Eclectic, Neighborhoods . Seasons are Overrated . Sunny San Diego . Living in Paradise . Taco, Surf, Tech . Beaches. Beer. Burritos . Maybe next Year (sports team allusion) . Sunny and 75 (temperature or age)? . In the Navy . Stay Classy: Cliche (reference to Ron Burgundy, Anchorman) . Beer Town USA . Comics are Forever (ComicCon anyone?) . LoCal (I love this one) . America's Finest City (the city slogan) . The BEST Food (with it all being found in North Park ;-) . Mexico in Thirty-minutes (sister city Tijuana) . Best Biking Ever (oh yes, road bike or mountain bike, no matter) Getting Around Unfortunately, you have to drive most everywhere in San Diego BUT there is a trolley that goes from Mission Valley (5 to 10 minutes away) to downtown San Diego that is a good way to travel too, although downtown itself is only about a 15 minute drive away. Everything is really close in San Diego. Speaking of driving, I strongly recommend visiting Point Loma, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Del Mar and the typical places like the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Sea World, Legoland, Balboa Park, and Miramar. Great places to see are anything along the coastline starting from Coronado Island/Downtown San Diego, then going north for the next 45 miles: Rent a convertible, start driving from the Silver Strand Highway in the south part of Coronado Island, and then go across the bridge to Interstate 5 north, then to the Pacific Coast Highway from Downtown San Diego, all the way up to Oceanside.
