1967 EKO. An old battle worn classic. For 42 years, this built-like-tank, durable workhorse as pleased whomever has had the pleasure of listening to it. Think about it. This guitar was made 3 years after the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan Show. The guitar was made the same year as the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album came out. We're talking 2 years before Woodstock!!! That's over 4 decades ago!!! The guitar has issues, just like any 42 year old. It was dropped once on it's lower bout area and there is some cracks in the varnish (yes, guitars from Italy have varnish on them, lot's of it) See photo. The guitar has been professionally repaired on the inside and the cracks in the clear coat do not affect the playability of this rare guitar. The other issues - the neck has a slight twist to it but it also does not effect the playing of the guitar. I have been brutally honest about the guitars quirks but I will also tell you that this guitar is a rare collector guitar that from the front and from the rear looks perfect. These guitars are so interesting, from the active pick up to the "BATMAN" style pick guard. There is no guitar on Earth with a pick guard as cool as an EKO Ranger. Even the rosette is intricately detailed and flawless. All electronics work perfect, all original tuners work effortlessly and I'm selling the guitar with it's original hard shell case which is just as vintage as the guitar. The vintage case alone would cost you over $150 - If you could even find one.

New Stagg 12 string guitar I bought this for my son however he wanted a 6 string. Perfect condition.

Just to clarify we are looking for either a bassist or a guitarist, not both. As far as the band, we have a drummer, guitarist, and our singer who can play both guitar and bass, and will slide into whatever spot he needs to in order to round out the lineup. We finished our first record not to long ago and it's now on available on iTunes. And are working on completely developing our live show, and getting everything in order so we can start touring early next year, so you must want and be able to tour.

We looking for someone between the ages of 21-30 (20 if your turning 21 in the next 6 months). Your amp isn't so much important as having a good guitar/bass with a good alt-rock/pop-rock sound (We have both guitar and bass amps you can use if you don't have a great one). Ability to sing harmonies is a huge plus. The guitarist will be playing mostly rhythm parts, but those parts vary from straight forward to semi-complex rhythms but there are also lead parts sprinkled in. The bassist should be someone who can sync with the drummer well. There aren't difficult bass lines, but following the kick is very important.

Here’s a vintage 1972 Martin D-12-28 acoustic electric 12 string guitar with the original hard shell case. It sounds, plays and looks fantastic. The 2010 Vintage Guitar Price Guide books it at $2200 for excellent high condition which this one is.
