Just to clarify we are looking for either a bassist or a guitarist, not both. As far as the band, we have a drummer, guitarist, and our singer who can play both guitar and bass, and will slide into whatever spot he needs to in order to round out the lineup. We finished our first record not to long ago and it's now on available on iTunes. And are working on completely developing our live show, and getting everything in order so we can start touring early next year, so you must want and be able to tour.

We looking for someone between the ages of 21-30 (20 if your turning 21 in the next 6 months). Your amp isn't so much important as having a good guitar/bass with a good alt-rock/pop-rock sound (We have both guitar and bass amps you can use if you don't have a great one). Ability to sing harmonies is a huge plus. The guitarist will be playing mostly rhythm parts, but those parts vary from straight forward to semi-complex rhythms but there are also lead parts sprinkled in. The bassist should be someone who can sync with the drummer well. There aren't difficult bass lines, but following the kick is very important.

Robert Cartwright is a veteran of the San Diego music scene with a professional playing and singing career beginning well before he graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. degree in music. He is a longtime member of the American Federation of Musicians, specializing in electric and acoustic guitar and vocals.

He was the guitarist for numerous stage productions with organizations such as The San Diego Civic Light Opera (Starlight) Orchestra (eight years), The San Diego Symphony Pops Orchestra, The Old Globe Theatre and others.

As a recording studio guitarist and vocalist, Robert has been heard on numerous albums and commercials for clients such as Yamaha, Kodak, Buick, Travelodge, Home Federal Savings, Karl's Shoes, DHL Airlines, Holiday Inns of Hawaii, Nissan, American Savings, Montgomery Ward, Best Western Hotels, U-Totem and Frazier Farms.

Robert now specializes in solo work ranging from Jazz and Standards (with or without vocals), through the best of Popular Music classics to “Beach Music” for that tropical-themed event so popular with San Diego conventioneers. His presentation includes fully-sequenced musical accompaniment with keyboards, bass, drums and more, providing the sound and energy of a full band, but with the ability to provide the appropriate volume for even the most intimate of settings.
